Crawling Back

Wow, it's been so long that I hardly know where to begin. So much has happened since that last post. The Tsunami, Ashlee Simpson's mess-up on SNL, the Eagles winning the Superbowl... okay, so that last one is more of a prediction than a summary. Still, there's obviously been a lot of things going on. Rather than restate the obvious, the things you already know from the newspapers, I will take the iniative and move on to another topic.
Today marks the first real snowy weekend we've had since Winter began. Snow! I've been waiting to go out and bean someone with a sphere of the stuff! I almost threw one at my co-worker today for being a know-it-all. Hey! He had it coming.
I just found my ice skates in the garage today, and I am hoping to use them this weekend. There are several spots in the park next to my house. Relax, these places are only a few inches deep normally, so by now they are frozen solid. No risk of drowning there! The only thing is, the area itself is not big enough for more than two people. It's great for practice, though.
I hope you have found similar Winter activities that are giving you much enjoyment. In my next post, I will tell about the sledding hill my friends and I found. I'm going to go sled on it first. Later!
